With the awesomeness of the past couple years of DEBAUCHIROCK, it is my intention to run a few extra trips as part of a series in 2009. The same concept is in place- cruisin around in the turbo van, hittin crazy snow, and tearin up towns. It may be debauchiry but we ROCK IT time and time again. 

The series will start off with our staple trip down through Fernie, Rossland, and Nelson. The January 30-February 3 timing is perfect for rockin these towns during some awesome parties. Last years’ escapades at the Kokanee Snow Dreams party in Fernie will definitely go down in history, but with our founding table slide representative on baby leave this year, there is room for anyone to step up—and I dont doubt we will. With a bit of time to recover we get ready for the journey to Rossland, cruisin into town in time for the annual Rossland Street Jam and Festival. Road are shut down, music is playing, and a rail park has been built for this crazy day of tricksters, vendors, and of course beer garden. YAAYYYY. Chekin in to our luxury condo and livin large is awesome and the party continues. Merely steps away from the lifts, we have 2 days to make ourselves at home on Red Mountain (my new favorite mountain by far after last years’ adventure). 

We then head to Nelson for a night on the town. Staying right downtown is perfect for strolling the streets and hittin some fun night life. WE missed out last year, so hopefully this year will be epic. We will ride Whitewater on the way out of town and head homeward bound after another day cruisin fresh powder (if all goes according to plan). 

This loop through the West Kootenay is one we have done the past couple years, and definitely an annual staple. WE have crazy fun, meet awesome people, and hit some of the best snow I have experienced in my years of riding. This trip is for anyone who likes to have fun and go hard. “if there was ever 4 (5) days to do crazy shit…this is it!!”
