Post ROCKAGANZA Recovery…and potential withdrawel

Monday, July 7th, 2008

Well ROCKAGANZA 08 is all wrapped up….well at least for shows!!

The hours and maybe days it will take to regain normal life is unknown….however there was nothing greater than a several hour nap Sunday afternoon!!!

Now as I tackle the mess that is the RV, I would like to go back and start again… with slightly better organization.. and the insight gained from the lessons we learned throughout the week…..

Since there is no going back…I can surely guarantee that this first years’ event will go down as the FOUNDATION for future ROCKAGANZA Tours to rock it bigger and better every year!!

The shows were fun, the bands were diverse, new friends were made, the musicianship was phenomenal, and the late night jams and collabortations were everything that was conceptualized.

ROCKAGANZA was built with the hopes of reigniting some of the lost elements of what Rock grew on. The amazing response and fun that was had at all shows and especially at the Motorcylce Rally is so indicitive that this is where the love remains.

Our bands displayed much more than just amazing musical talent….they rocked the shows as passionate performers and deadly individuals who had no problem engaging the crowds (and ourselves) night after night!!

Our video crew was with us through all of it and the end ROCKUMENTARY production will surely be something to see. Full of great music, fun times in the rockies, and exclusive moments you wont be able to see anywhere else (and for us, some moments that would have been forgotten otherwise), this DVD will be full of fist pumping good times!!!

ROCKAGANZA is and will be more than just a set of rock shows…it will once again define Rock Production and continue grow every year from here on out….

Thanks for those who checked us out….and for those who didn’t…..check out the ROCKUMENTARY (stay tuned for release details).

ALREADY SOOOO STOKED FOR ROCKAGANZA ‘09!!!

Sams x3…

Playing with Kiesza, Rockaganza ‘08 is off the hook, line and sinker!  The Rockies’ effort to rock has gone off the walls.  The concerts, condo parties and jams between the bands and crew have been “deadly”.  We’re on our way to Wild Bills in Banff in about 6 hours and are ready to rock some serious pants!!!…

          … Sam King, peace.

My experience in Rockaganza so far -Kiesza

Thursday, July 3rd, 2008

When Lindsay first asked me to come onboard with Rockaganza, I had no band, no touring experience and only a vague image of what my music would sound like with more people onboard. For the past three years that I have been songwriting, the only concept I have had of my music, is what I could imagine.

Leading up to Rockaganza, I really did not no what to expect. But Lindsay’s enthusiasm  for the event was so strong, that I believed with all my heart that it was going to be something amazing.

We are now four days into the event and because of Lindsay’s vision, I have been able to see my music in a new light. Now, supported by four of the most incredible musicians I know, for the first time I have been able to perform my music the way I have always envisioned. I feel like I have finally stepped up to a new level. Rockaganza has given me so much drive and passion for what I do and has shown me the power of collaboration.

I am so grateful for what Lindsay has done and I admire her for being able to stick to her vision and make it happen. It is the passion that drives this event that will keep it alive.

Thank you so much Lindsay.

ROCK ON!!!!
